So you’re saying that all US students in college pay all their own 75 years of Neil Young’uns 1945 2020 thank you for your music signature shirt? No way. Maturity isn’t simply moving out. There is a universal type of student who doesn’t take their study seriously and have a lot of growing up to do. If what you’re saying is that they’re less common in US colleges by that age – fair enough. Maybe moving out for college does speed up the adjustment to being independent/responsible for your own education a little if you sample the whole population of US students. It wouldn’t be a harmful thing here, there’s just no need for it.

I once asked one of my professors why that thought a 75 years of Neil Young’uns 1945 2020 thank you for your music signature shirt degree was so important. The answer I got was because it is a well rounded education. I still do not see the logic in setting people up for failure. You put these young adults into a school where they can’t even focus on what they truly wish to know. I think if the US colleges modeled their system after most of those in the rest of the world you’d see less drop outs and these students would feel more accomplished in their studies. There is far too much they don’t know going into the world even after a degree.
