I don’t watch sports on a regular basis, I enjoy watching the occasional football, baseball, Evgeni Malkin Retro White shirt hockey game, but there’s almost always something I’d rather be doing. It’s been at least 3 years since the last game I’ve watched, but I think it’s more like 5 or 6.Sports video games, now those get broken out fairly often, generally the more over the top ones, like Mutant Football League, or Super Blood Hockey, but I’ve been known to play some Madden or The Show here and there.Hard to escape it entirely. I watch part of the super bowl most years because it’s likely someone in my family will want to talk about it.I think viewership has fractured and there are probably many people who watch little or no pro sports. If you feel odd for your viewing habits, that’s just an artifact of the crowd you run with.I worked in a major cable company for a while and nterestingly, a fair number of folks (men and women) didn’t watch anything at all, including me.
