“Mrs. Weasley set the Human LGBT Lesbian Gay Pride Equality LGBT Human Rights T Shirt tee down on the bedside cabinet, bent down, and put her arms around Harry. He had no memory of ever being held like this, as though by a mother. The full weight of everything he had seen that night seem to fall in upon him as Mrs. Weasley held him to her. His mother’s face, his father’s voice, the sight of Cedric, dead on the ground all started spinning in his head until he could hardly bear it, until he was screwing up his face against the howl of misery fighting to get out of him.” -Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, emphasis added. This passage rips my heart in two every time I read it! Harry has no memory of ever being held/comforted by someone like a mother. And he had just experienced something so disturbing and so scary that no person should have to endure, especially a 14 year old kid. All she has to do is hug this boy, and Molly’s motherly affection comforts him to tears.
Okay, so this was back in seventh grade. Our final exams were coming up and -me being very easily distracted- I was trying to make sure every bit of Human LGBT Lesbian Gay Pride Equality LGBT Human Rights T Shirt tee was perfect, so I wouldn’t get distracted. However, the nose-pad on my glasses was slightly loose, so every few second, I would find my glasses on the end of my nose. My hair on the other hand was very short, not ponytail length, but still long enough to bother me because of the curls. In order to solve both of these problems I decided to use some scotch tape and 2 hairbands… By the time I was finished, I had my hair in 2 ponytails sticking out from my head, my glasses scotch taped to my forehead and one of my dad’s [humongous] t-shirts on over a pair of regular length shorts for comfort. I was, you could a say a comical sight.

I get to his front door and knock a Human LGBT Lesbian Gay Pride Equality LGBT Human Rights T Shirt tee times. I can hear the clunking of plates and cutlery emanating from the kitchen. Something smells good. He answers the door and his neutral expression turns to raised eyebrows and a slightly open mouth. “It’s raining,” I say. “Yes…” he replies, pretending not to make eye contact as he surveys the hallway which is now covered in a river of rainwater that I brought in. He looks back at me and opens his mouth slightly as if to say something. His face appears as if he’s just been told something he shouldn’t understand but does. “What?” I interject. “You got a better place to be this evening?” I ask sardonically. “You’re lucky to have this,” I say, as I gesture to my dripping hair and soaked through clothing. “Uh, no,” he replies. “Oh, for heaven’s sake, just get in here. I can’t have people seeing drowned rats turning up at my door. They might get suspicious!” “Pfft, yeah, right. That’s the only thing that you do that makes people suspicious.” “Oh, shut up, and get a towel! And I’m not kissing you with your hair sopping wet.” He turns with a cheeky smile and scurries to the kitchen, and I steal his hairdryer. We eat a delicious dinner as we listen to Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major; my favourite. He remembered.

As soon as she told him which school she was from he got snotty and when she said she wanted to be a Human LGBT Lesbian Gay Pride Equality LGBT Human Rights T Shirt tee he went into a huge long speech about how hard she might find it to get the grades she needed and that she would need to be completely committed etc as if the school she had been to meant she was incapable of any of these. Still, she didn’t let him put her off, she was accepted and went for the two years. BUT she hated every minute, she felt like she was looked down upon by both teachers and other students because of the previous school she had attended and failed her A-Levels badly. BUT she didn’t let it destroy her, she enrolled in the local college where she took Psychology and a Science, which for the life of me I can’t remember the exact Human LGBT Lesbian Gay Pride Equality LGBT Human Rights T Shirt tee. While there she applied to the local university to do Biology. She was accepted with an unconditional place based on her GCSE results, before she had even received her results for college meaning she had a place no matter what they were. She passed them with flying colours including a double distinction in the science subject because she loved going to college and no-one judged her for the school she had been to before. She did the 2 year Science course in 1 year.
I would honestly say, unless you are having money issues and therefore really have to save every penny, don’t live life scrimping and saving as really, what’s the Human LGBT Lesbian Gay Pride Equality LGBT Human Rights T Shirt tee ? Going without all of those things in your list is fine but what does that leave? Sure you can make your own entertainment but like i say, if you don’t have to (ie. don’t have money issues) then why not have netflix, music subscriptions etc. We can all watch anything and listen to anything we want for free (let’s not pretend this isn’t easy to do nowadays) but hey, we only live once. Is saving a few thousand a year really going to be life changing? Do what you want whilst you can is my philosophy.
