The Russians actually invented anti tank dogs. They fed dogs under tanks with engines idling for weeks. Then would attach a strapped on bag with a shaped charge on the bacj pointed up. A stick pointed up was there as well so when the dog ran under the tank the stick bent and bang. The project worked…on both sides tanks. It was shortly thereafter cancelled. the Germans innvented the first guided bombs which were glide bombs. Callex the Fritz X they sank several ships off Italy near Salerno in 1943. A He111 would drop the bomb with fins you could steer by radio with a little joystick it had flares in the tail so you could track it. And you dropped it from about 30k feet and glided it into a I’m Still Here Fighting Diabetes T shirt. Its first victim was the Roma in a test. It completely oblitersted the pride of the Italian fleet. It sanks several Allied ships. Unfortunately the plane was vulnerable while guiding the bomb and the Allies soon learned to jam the signal.
We live in a rural community so the nearest store that sells the kind of I’m Still Here Fighting Diabetes T shirt dryers we need is about 2 hours away. My boss was dealing with a family emergency and asked if I would drive up and get it. This basically involved me giving up at least half my day (and it was my day off too) to drive up to pick one up (we couldn’t have it shipped because Canada Post workers were on strike, no guarantees we would get it anytime soon) So I drive up and pick a new one up (plus some other stuff we needed since I was there anyway.) My last stop is right next to a MacDonalds, and it’s exactly noon. I want to lose as little of my day of as possible so I decide I’ll grab a quick meal there and eat on the road. I’m already parked, plus the drive through is super long as it’s the lunch rush so I decide I’ll just go in and order. Once inside, the area around the cashier is packed, but there are a few kiosks open. I don’t normally like using the kiosks but I don’t want to wait around too long so I figure I might as well.

I’m not sure whether it’s cruel or not but I have had my first dog for 10 years now. He is a chihuahua and I never used crates because I don’t feel it’s needed. What is needed is time and patience especially with puppies or any dog who doesn’t quite understand how to behave. when I got my dog I took 7 weeks off as holiday (included Xmas holidays too) I took time to train my pup and get a I’m Still Here Fighting Diabetes T shirt started. When I went to work I got a walker to take him for half day to continue routine and socialise. It does take time and I believe crates are not needed and I don’t like the thought of them. It cost me quite some money at the start to get my dog started as London prices are high but worth it I am able to leave him home for few hours without issues, my dog never destroyed my things ever had plenty of toys and walks. Not sure how it works for big dogs as I have never had one but as first time fur mummy I think small dogs don’t need crates.
Nieve Mexicana. This was an astonishing discovery, because Nieve Mexicana (literally, ‘Mexican snow’) is the same thing as the Sicilian granita. It is a semi-frozen dessert, but it is not with milk (so, it is not like gelato), it is rather creamy, but it keeps a bit of a crunchy texture (so, it is not like sorbet), and it has no eggs (so, it is not like semifreddo). To my knowledge, only in Mexico and in Sicily they do Nieve Mexicana/granita. This is not entirely surprising: both Mexico and the Southern part of Italy had a very long Spanish domination. It may be that some dishes were created in one place and I’m Still Here Fighting Diabetes T shirt got to the other by word-of-mouth. Anyway, the only difference between the two versions is that Sicilian granita comes in very basic flavours: lemon, almond, pistachio, chocolate and strawberry. Really, no more than that. In Mexico, however, they have all sorts of flavours for Nieve Mexicana. Some flavours have really weird names, like “the tear of the angel”, which I have no idea of what they really taste like.
