There is security camera footage shown to the cops: Scorpio and Leo did not start the fight. The proof is right there. Scorpio did give fair warning. His credentials are verified by the cops, though they have known for years Scorpio is an FBI special agent: he has helped them with a few cases informally, and as it turns out, Scorp’s grandfather was the chief of police here decades ago; nobody recognizes Scorp as the geeky kid who begged his grandfather, a former 101st Airborne, for help with bullies. (There are old photos of a buck toothed, baby Scorpio with coke bottle eyeglasses in his little yellow belt down at the station with Grampaw, just before the Chief retired. The Old Man would be proud. Magna Cum Laude, Georgetown. 6th level black belt, plus expertise in grappling and Tae Kwon Do as well. Degrees in criminal psychology and child psych, working on PhD in private. Plenty of side hustles that make quite a bit of money, all above board, of course. Herbert has been brought to crime scenes as a means to calm children, something Special Agent Scorp pioneered. Took down serial killer of children and Its Alive 1974 shirt also was involved in Aaron Sacramone case, aka the San Diego Butcher. Sacramone still has scars from that ice skate, and actually, that is an improvement from an eight year old Scorpio who could not control his temper at all.

Alchemy in FMA mostly doesn’t resemble real alchemy beyond those references. Real alchemy isn’t equivalent exchange — changing something into something else of equal value — but rather, metamorphosing something into a more improved version of itself. Theoretically, this would be turning “lead” into “gold,” the most base form of metal into the most perfect form of metal (as was believed). But real alchemy isn’t about chemicals, and it never really was. Real alchemy is a spiritual process, meant to transmute the soul from its “base” human state into a “perfect” spiritual state. The way to do this is to separate out the “subtle” from the “gross,” i.e. the higher spiritual self from the mundane and earthly human self, and then joining them back together so that the spiritual self purifies the Its Alive 1974 shirt self. This is summarized by the Latin phrase “solve et coagula,” to dissolve and to congeal, or alternately, to separate and to bring together. FMA parallels this with its two parts of alchemy being deconstruction (solve) and reconstruction (coagula). Here is my (tentative) description of how the alchemical process works.

Matt growled. Once Brian could catch his breath, he sighed. “You—You wanna know why we were laughing right?” Brian said. Alex chortled, holding back his laughter, letting out a couple of giggles. “Oh my god, Brian no—” Alex said, starting to cough from how hard he was laughing. Brian then started laughing again imagining Matt’s reaction. “That ‘girl’ you nearly kissed is-” Brian stopped and laughed harder. Matt looked at Brian, obviously angry. “Is what?!” The two boys laughed harder at Matt’s reaction. Clement finally came back and opened the car door confused. “Is… everything alright?” Clement asked. “Clem— Clement tell him!” Alex exclaimed. Clement stared at Alex confused for a few moments, then slowly realized what they were talking about. Realizing that, he let out a Its Alive 1974 shirt ‘oh.’ Matt continued to look back and forth between the two. “What?! Tell me what?!” He yelled in anger. Alex wheezed, hearing how angry Matt was. Brian then started coughing. “Um…” Clement started. “W-well… Um-” Matt started to become annoyed by the lack of answers he was getting. “Spit it out. Now.”

I met a junkie whom I felt sorry for. I invited her to stay in the spare room of my house. She didn’t stay clean long. I noticed I was running out of spoons. I had a big jar of matchbooks I had collected from far off places I had visited, but that quickly disappeared. I don’t think she ever stole anything. Later on, her boyfriend moved in with her, without my knowledge or consent. Not long after, she went back into rehab. The boyfriend stayed behind, living in the room. I walked in and said, “Grab your stuff. I’m giving you a ride downtown.” And that was the end of that. I was in a Its Alive 1974 shirt facility and met a war veteran (Somalia, I think) who’d been through, or rather, participated, in some really fucked up stuff, involving kids and guns. He was a meth guy, in his 30s. Sure did keep his room clean. I occasionally gave him rides and paid to get his car out of impound. It was all fine until I needed him to leave. I got a job in Mountain View and decided to move there, so I sold everything I had to a friend (house, clothes, possessions, tools, dogs) so I could drive away from my old life with just the stuff in my car. I warned him a month in advance, so he had time to make preparations. He was still there when I left, with promises he would be gone soon. But he just stayed there, and my friend, who bought my house, kept running into him. I kept putting pressure on him to leave, and eventually he did, by rolling up a moving van in the middle of the night and packing it up with stuff. Lots of my expensive tools, and a bunch of DVDs. (Lots of turnover in the construction industry, so tools are easy to unload for cash.
