Official we are all Fauci shirt
I searched high and low last winter for a Official we are all Fauci shirt, double breasted wool peacoat, with fitted seams/darts, but NO hood or belt, because I wanted it fitted and sleek. I also wanted it knee length, to cover up my butt. I’m petite and while I know the recommendation is to avoid double breasted, because it makes you look wider, I didn’t care, dammit. I just wanted a coat that folds over in front to keep me extra warm. Something would have been perfect except for the color. Alas, since it didn’t come in the color I wanted. I never found it, but I got close enough with. I ended up loving it, and it’s SO warm, and makes me feel my age and looks professional.

I have a physical disability and wear an ankle-foot orthosis on Official we are all Fauci shirt. It makes shoe shopping an absolute NIGHTMARE. I need to buy two pairs of shoes every time I buy shoes because the AFO makes my right foot 1.5 sizes bigger than the left, which is annoying and expensive, but I can deal with it. What I truly cannot deal with is that there are so few boots that I can get my AFO into. I can’t point my foot when I’m wearing the AFO, so it’s impossible to get my foot into boots without zippers or laces. Most boots with zippers don’t open wide enough for me to get my AFO into them. I wish someone would make a boot with double zippers where BOTH zippers are actually functional on both sides of the shoe, as opposed to having one that is decorative. I wish someone would make a tall boot with a back zipper instead of a side zipper. And more than anything, I want a nice, leather Chelsea-style ankle boot that I can actually get into.
