They’ve held food drives at their concerts where if you bring canned goods they give you a free exclusive single or merchandise. They donated materials from their warehouse to be used for mask making for COVID. Many reporters have gone to their shows with the assumption they’d be stabbed or beat up only to end up having a great experience and they write very positive articles about ICP and their fans as a result. The list goes on, but they’ve proven themselves to actually be pretty good people and they do right by their fans, despite having their own flows and rough upbringing.

I think the similarities are that it’s a fairly white non college graduates community. ICP is definitely odd, but if you listen to any of their interviews or even some of their songs they’re generally normal good people who created a kind of community around their music. Trumps biggest devotees are kinda using the same part of the brain for their rabid fandom as ICP but Trump manipulates his supporters fears about race, “coastal elites”, and immigrants in general. Plus Trumps a pathological liar and as far as I know that’s not the case for ICP. So in addition trumps supporters are gullible enough to believe some of his most ridiculous and clearly false claims.
