But that begs the question–who are “the dems”? It’s important to remember that the Unity Is Power shirt that Biden this year is going to become the Democratic nominee isn’t because of some shadowy backroom conspiracy, it’s simply the result of millions of every day registered Democrat voters choosing Biden (or other centrist candidates before they dropped out and those voters moved to Biden). And the vaunted youth vote that was supposed to come out in force and propel Bernie to the nomination hasn’t panned out, meaning either they weren’t motivated enough to come out and vote, or there aren’t the numbers people think there are of those folks within the progressive movement/Democratic party. I think in the end, this is the thing so many people miss. Just like Trump was an expression of what Republican rank and file voters voted for in their primary, Biden, like Hillary before him, is the expression of what a majority Democratic rank and file voters apparently want. So the blame lies with no one but the voters themselves. This is what they want, this is what they get.

The reality as I see it is we can vote for a candidate who might listen to everyone and then Unity Is Power shirt a decision based on that, or we can vote for a candidate who only listens to one side and makes decisions that will own the libs, make his base happy and hurt people deliberately. To the progressives who say all or nothing, that is extremist and it is the same thing you yell about the other side doing. How about you work to get a less then perfect candidate elected so you get some of what you want, or sit it out and get nothing but bask in the perfection of your argument.
