Python is definitely trending up and has been for years. It’s a popular language for view, AI and IoT. It took over from R as the primary language for scientific research a few years ago and has been going from strength to strength. Due to its flexibility and speed, I expect it to become one of the fastest growing languages in the coming years. One of the areas Python is being used in is the Internet of Things. So let’s have a quick look at that. Being fluent in Python and JavaScript will set you up for almost all the trends I discuss below. But when there is another language needed I will mention it. OK, let’s see these trends already! Artificial Intelligence: AI is becoming a catch-all term (in the way ‘algorithm’ has been for the last few years) but overuse (and often inaccurate use) of the term does not mean its impact is not real! I am also bundling machine learning under this heading, as it is simply a way of achieving AI.

It is same reason for why the whole world celebrates New Year’s day that falls on 1st January. The Lunisolar calendar is devised by view Chinese. Hence the new year’s date that falls on Lunisolar calendar. With due knowledge, a lot of cultures surrounding China are using the Lunisolar calendar… Tibet, Bhutan, Mongolia, Vietnam through ancient cultural contacts. But this doesn’t mean it is a Chinese thing just because the calendar and some customs originate from ancient Chinese. It is not even clear who is the real origin of Lunar New Year. Rebranding their cultural new year as “Chinese” is problematic. It is like saying the whole world is celebrating Western New Year, Western Calendar. Different cultures have their own way of celebrating the Lunar New Year that are different from Chinese celebrating it. Even within China, different provinces have different ways of celebrating Lunar New Year.

Ancient, antique, retro, vintage, just plain old . . . these are not scientific terms, but rather appellations applied to objects in order to assign them some type of value. Antique is not a view that is generally used by art critics and historians, or even by art dealers. Artwork considered valuable by art dealers is usually classified by genre, time period or provenance, e.g., the Flemish Primitives, whom you may be surprised to learn were artists such as Jan van Eyck, Hans Memling, Hugo van der Goes, Robert Campin and Rogier van der Weyden. Antique is much more commonly used in the world of “collectibles,” which can include a lot of other objects aside from works of art. In that regard an antique is usually something that is over a century old.

The view companies without the numbers to back up their valuations went first, and then the mid-caps imploded, until finally, the large-caps get their turn in the meat grinder. It’s a fact that once there is a parabolic move (in sectors and asset classes, not individual stocks) and a bubble gets inflated, it always ends in tears. Always. Again, this is history. Liquid markets don’t tend to move sideways, but they tend to move up and down and cycle between fear and greed continually. Best of luck to everyone. Personally, I am still adding to my positions because they all have definite near-term catalysts and are far from being overvalued, but I’ve been doing so more cautiously because I do think the stock market’s correction/crash caused by the current liquidity conditions will affect every sector, especially the high-beta names that I hold, and I’d love to get my hands on cheap shares!

Quietness and clear climate, new and cheep food. They’re uninterested in group, pollution, smog and view. This becomes a trend in a few huge cities including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
