I think the Washington Commanders are a possible force. Jayden Daniels has been far better as a rookie than anyone really imagined. ()The 2025 Patriots have ALWAYS been more than a little bit suspect. Teams don’t often go from 4 wins to the Super Bowl, and they have too many clear weaknesses on their team for even the most diehard fan to be confident. But . . . there’s no question that Drake Maye is a top 5 QB, there is LOTS of legit talent, and there are some guys likely to come back who should help. Even with their help, the Patriots SHOULD BE a long shot. The only reason they’re not is that there isn’t a clear favorite. Nobody looks all that good right now. I think they’ll win a playoff game or maybe two. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they get to the Super Bowl.
