Chinese tourists are annoying, yes, and i am embarrassed by them, not only me, but the majority of the younger generation, yet it is another reflection of the rising living standards in china. Most of these people are part of the uneducated older generation, most dont have university degrees, while some just have no education what so ever, not even high school. I do believe as the next generation becomes more dominant, that issue will be fixed. On the other hand, you do sound very biased, and since you have never been to china, you cannot really claim that you know how it is like. China has shown another model of development for developing countries, and i am sure from the western point of view (despite me spending most of my life there, i chose not to get a greek citizenship) it does seem threatening, but eventually, even china will produce Divided by Geography, United by the Steelers T Shirt, maybe not the western kind, but it is inevitable with the rise of the middle class.
