As a redskins fan, I just want to say that this is kyle shananan’s MO. He’s amazing at designing schemes and gameplans, and is a very creative playcaller. But for a man who is just amazing at building a run game, he abandons the run in crucial moments, in moments where it just makes no sense at all, with baffling frequency. Our team sucked when kyle was there. He made our offense significantly better than the talent actually was. I give him all the credit in the world for that. But he cost us games getting cute and trying to throw and make Pittsburgh Steelers AFC North Division Champions T Shirt in moments where we just needed a safe call. And it happened tonight. Up by 8, on your opponents’ 22 yard line? And that series of playcalls? New england had to make the plays. The absurdly necessary and clutch great plays. But Kyle stuck it out there for them, the opportunity. It’s what he does and I think it will cost him throughout his career. Possibly a bit of an omen for the 49ers.

Belichick ran it more like a business. He was well liked and respected but was never one of the boys the way Vrabel can be. Culturally I think Vrabels team is more fun from a fan perspective but ultimately I think Bill built the best Pittsburgh Steelers AFC North Division Champions T Shirt to ever exist. Hell Bill’s ethos still hangs around the building imo.. We still very much have his ways burned into the way the team runs, plus obviously some of those principles are echoed by Vrabel because duh.
