The biggest misconception is that women’s sports should be feminine. That is, pretty. Weak. Soft. Women come in the same shapes and sizes as men do. So don’t expect female athletes to be slender and fragile. They are strong and need to be. That only someone who is skinny is athletic. In some sports this is true, but not in all of them. This is especially for woman’s sports. Back to the point of this answer, some of the best rowers on my team are not skinny, and they look powerful in their team Vanderbilt Commodores basketball text logo overlay shirt regardless of their build. I don’t know their exact weights and heights, but I’m guessing some of them are over weight. They don’t look the way you would think of an athletic person as. Personally, I look completely average, but I could beat anyone most people in a rowing race. I dare you to race any of the best rowers on my team, though. Formula One can no longer be classified as a sport. When teams started telling drivers to deliberately slow down to let a team-mate pass them, it ceased being a sport. In any other competition, such an act would result in disqualification for all concerned. It has ceased to be of interest to any true sport lover. In terms of enjoyable to watch, for me a great game of Rugby Union beats them all. Great mix of defence and offence, high scoring, skill blended with physical strength and virtually non-stop action. The team winning is not me winning. A lot of fans like to say “we won the game” while wearing their team Vanderbilt Commodores basketball text logo overlay shirt, but no, you did not “win the game” and an athlete won the game. You simply watched them win. The “plot” of the game is the same every single time. The rules are always the same, the maneuvers are all the same, and the stats are all the same. After watching a couple games you have basically watched them all. At least with a TV show there is an actual plot.

Long-term replacements for Zach Guthrie and Jake Kolodjashnij aren’t currently evident and are all at the age where that needs to start being organized.
